A story which concentrate in the life of a prostitute. The story story reveal about the patriarchal notions entrenched into the blood of the Manipuri man. The more writter tries to hide beneath his words, the more it reveals. There may uncountable number of incidents in the life span of a person but the incident of meeting a prostitute who has no status in our society has changed as human and as a man. He can no longer stands on his ego and pride after meeting the prostitute. The main protagonist Ibombi, a lazy man born in a village,is married to a woman called.......

His life seems have any purpose, also he don't wish to give a meaning to it. He is neither a good husband nor a good father to his children. He lives with the follow of the time without being hesitated of his aimless life.

Everyday he fought with his wife over the small issues and he never think that it is his responsibility to look after his wife.
